Alarms

Whzan alarms are an optional feature that can warn of pending or present trouble within the user's system. 

By using the alarm editor, a definition of an alarm can be constructed.  This is usually simply a datapoint reaching or exceeding a preset value; however the facilities exist in Whzan to define alarm conditions based on derived values, functions and equations.

When an alarm condition is reached, everyone in the email list created by the user will be notified.

Alarms can be set to be latching, in which case the alarm condition will remain until a user has acknowledged the alarm.  An Alarm List control can be placed on to a Whzan Mimic which will permit users to see and acknowledge alarms.
