Whzan Architecture
Whzan telehealth comprises of two independent systems, the end user system which operates on Android devices and the clinician system
on Microsoft's Azure cloud. When a patient reading is taken, it is wireless transmitted to the Android device,
which will then relay it on to the cloud. Data is sent to an SQL database. Medical information and alerts from the Azure based
portal are triaged and can be relayed to patient record systems for maximum interoperability.
Security
All transmissions are secured with https, data is stored behind a Microsoft firewall in an encrypted format.
Resilience
Hourly automatic backups and dual UK site hosting eliminate downtime. Tablet systems are autonomous and continue to
function without internet connection.
